2012 Goals, revisited and revised

So, now comes the mid-year look at my 2012 goals. Yay?
Mental/Physical
- Get down to a size 12 - I am actually down to a size 14/16 (depends on the maker) from a size 18/20, so I'm pretty happy with my progress on this goal. I don't think I am going to actually make the goal, but I'm making progress so that's what makes me happy.
- Ride bike at least 4x/week - Still haven't even managed to get the tire on my bike fixed, so I'm failing miserably at this one. I need to make a list o'shit to do next week and outline how I am gonna do it and stuff. (Hell, I need to go back to making lists o'shit to do on a daily basis...)
- Use the goddamn gym membership on Wednesdays - Failing at this one, though I am doing more things that are physically active in general--swimming, walking, hiking, etc. Since the mental health day has been moved to a half-day on Mondays instead of a whole day Wednesdays, I think I may try leaving earlier than I need to and going to work out in the gym before class.
- Start using Fitocracy again daily - Failing at this, even though I am doing more physically active stuff. I think I'm going to remove this goal from the list.
- Cut down sweet/grease indulgence to one day a week - Meeting this goal!
- Don't put shit off to the last minute - Halfway meeting this one. I'm definitely learning to put stuff off less, though I still put stuff off because I don't want to face it.
- Attend at least 20 individual appointments and 40 DBT days @ Vistas - Failing at the whole individual appointment thing--haven't seen my therapist since Aprilish--but doing well at attending DBT and am on track for my goal.
- Stop dwelling on bad things; focus on the positive - This is so hard, but I am doing my best to meet the goal. It's hard sometimes to make myself go, no, STOP, you need to look at the bright side of things here. Especially with all the difficulty with my mom and all!
- Go to the doctor & get things checked out with bloodwork - Doing this!
- Fill out DBT charts more than once a week - Meeting this goal most weeks, but not all the time; normally fill out the chart twice a week.
- Build at least three long-term good habits - During the time when I lived with my mom, I built a habit of eating green things and veggies that has seemed to carry over some. It's hard to do it sometimes (I crave carbs/sweets pretty often) but with my new lactose intolerance it's being easier to avoid ice cream.
Writing/Editing/Reading
- Finish Arti's fic - Haven't done this. Need to do it. Feel so guilty ;_;
- Finish the Fear arc in RSA/RAG - Haven't done this and am going to remove this goal from my list.
- Post more short stories - I kind of buzuh at this goal, because I am not sure how to quantify it. But I've posted more short stories this year than I did last year, so... yay?
- Write 400k words - Not really on track for this, but not far off from being on track for it.
- Participate in Camp NaNo + Normal NaNo - Half-assed participated in June; going to participate for real (including write-ins with Sushi and Em) in August.
- Finish & submit two novels and five short stories - Hahahahahaha. x_x I'm going to remove the "and five short stories" part of this goal.
- Find one new author a month to e-mail - Have failed so hard at this lately, but I've been so busy with everything else... :/
- Edit all stories for my anthologies on time - Accomplished this, thus far.
- Write stories for each round of
smut_fest - Done this so far, too!
- Read fifty books - 42 and counting according to my GoodReads, but there are many books I've read in the past couple months that I haven't put on there.
- Review at least one book/month - Removing this, as the review site I was supposed to review for fell through.
- Go out with NaNo friends and write at least once a week - Met this goal admirably until the whole stuff with Mom happened. Still easing my way back into it!
Everything else
- Donate blood at D*C - Hasn't happened yet.
- Volunteer at two conventions - Volunteered at three conventions and D*C hasn't even happened yet!
- Get back into cleaning the whole house once a week - Failing at this, though hopefully my talk with my roommate last night will help us make some headway on this. (I refuse to be the only one who does cleaningstuff.)
- Start cleansing the house (sage/cedar/etc) at least once a week - Have been failing at this, but mostly because I need to order sage/cedar. I should actually call mom about this and see what she thinks.
And that's where I'm at! Meeting some goals, not meeting others, and removing some because they're either unrealistic or not something I want to do anymore.

- Attend at least 20 individual appointments and 40 DBT days @ Vistas
- Stop dwelling on bad things; focus on the positive
- Fill out DBT charts more than once a week
- Build at least three long-term good habits
Writing/Editing/Reading
- Finish Arti's fic
- Write 400k words
- Participate in Camp NaNo + Normal NaNo
- Finish & submit two novels/novellas
- Edit all stories for my anthologies on time
