It's that time again: TMI time about my sex life!
Overall: My mind, she is blown. (In a good way.)
Detail:
I went to the pre-party dinner at Mellow Mushroom and spent a lot of time socializing with people. It was pretty damn cool, and once again I had a feeling like I had at APW, that these people were the people that I could really relate to, really get along with, see myself in long-term friendships with, etc. It was a good feeling, even though I did see a lot of the things like maymay describes in his problems with the BDSM community.
We went to the dungeon after that, paid money to get in blahblahblah and-- well, I guess I'll describe the dungeon, because... yep. There are some pictures on the site, but not pictures of all the rooms.
There's a big room, which has various types of bondage tables, crosses, and spanking benches, a suspension area, and what looks like a spiderweb made of chains that you can use to truss someone up on. From the big room, several rooms that break off:
- a medical play room, with an examining table and a steel chair on wheels and I think maybe some medical supplies, but I didn't really get a good look at it.
- a shower area large enough to make RAG-Saji cream his pants
- a 'prison' room, with a stand-up cage and a huge padded table and a light suspension bar (not made to take someone's full weight for very long, it looked like)
- a crossdressing room
- a dining room (very important to eat after a scene, apparently, and I can attest to the fact that having water onhand is completely necessary! You get really fucking thirsty when you're getting beaten, and also very cold for some reason--one common thing is to stop and feel the bottom's hands, to gauge their body temperature)
- a whip room, which had a light suspension bar and I think a cross in it as well, also couches for spectators to sit on

The decor is very minimalistic, and most everything is black. There were carpets in some areas, and rugs in others, but for the most part it was bare floor. I liked the feel of the bare floor under my bare feet, though, so this was not a minus.
Anyway: lots of areas to play in. Lots.
There was a demo on genderfucking before the play began, which was a really fucking cool demo! I learned that I respond well to a lot of submissive words (though I did not like the word 'passive'! Big fucking surprise there /sarcasm) and some dominant ones too, esp. sir? It was kind of weird in some ways but interesting too.
After that, play time! Oh man, so many floggers. The demos in the main areas were pretty neat, but the ones in the side rooms were especially interesting to me. I liked the intimate feel of those rooms much better than the overtly voyeuristic feel of the larger rooms.
We made friends with the other people there who were newbies and migrated from scene to scene, watching with rapt attention! I was getting wet, watching two things in particular: one girl in the whip room. Every time the whip cracked I had such a shudder through me, fear and just... nngh, so hot.
And then in the prison room, someone had a Violet Wand and one girl, one of the newbies I'd made friends with, was the sub there. It did not hurt that she was black and wearing these gorgeous pink panties! Totally added to the hotness factor x100. I want very badly to try one of those; it looks like a really intense experience.
