In a great wide open world
Failing utterly at posting any journal entries. Here's a meme instead:
Payback's A Bitch (But I Like It) - LJ; DW
Who is big spoon/little spoon: Bob thinks he's the biggest fucking knife there is, but he's actually more of a butter knife. Jacob is more of a spork than a spoon: multi-purpose. Versatile. Aidan's probably more of a fork; he's pretty type A. ...and together, they are all you need to eat a meal.
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Watching movies.
Who uses all the hot water: Bob, because he's an ass like that; it's a damn good thing the government pays their bills or they'd never be able to afford it.
What they order from take out: Jacob is diabetic plus allergic to wheat and high fructose corn syrup, so they don't eat take-out very much because they can't be sure what is/isn't in it. As a result, Jacob's an awesome cook.
What is the most trivial thing they'll fight about: What's for dinner.
Who does most of the cleaning: Adrian. Jacob would just leave the messes for a week or two before he gets around to cleaning them, but Aidan's pretty on top of all the dirty things.
Who controls the Nextflix queue: Both of them. They have pretty similar tastes, though Jacob just doesn't get operas and Adrian cannot see the appeal of reality TV.
Who calls up the landlord when the heat's not working: They own the house! But if they need something their stipends won't pay for (a new roof!) Aidan's normally the one who gets fuckered into it.
Who steals all the blankets: Aidan; his skinny little professional ballet body wants all the heat and Jacob puts off heat like a furnace.
Who leaves all their stuff around: Bob, hahaha. Jacob is actually pretty good about picking up after himself, he just hates cleaning because cleaning products give him a headache.
Who remembers to buy the milk: Jacob! He's in charge of all things food, from planning meals to grocery shopping to actually cooking things.
Who remembers anniversaries: Jacob. Aidan would forget them if Jacob didn't put them on his Google calendar. Bob does too, but they wish he didn't.
Bonded - LJ
Who is big spoon/little spoon: Jamison is the biggest spoon, followed by Kaden, and then Ty is kind of the baby spoon because in spite of everything he just wants to be nailed.
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Working, on the good nights when nothing goes wrong; they all really enjoy working at The Bunker.
Who uses all the hot water: Jamison, no question about it. He loves just standing under the spray and letting the water relax him. Sometimes he'll take a shower and then a bath afterward, too, and that uses the water sooo much.
What they order from take out: Kaden normally cooks, but when they order out it's usually pizza because Ty loves pizza.
What is the most trivial thing they'll fight about: Kaden and Ty - Who left their underwear lying around. All three of them - Whose turn it is to go grocery shopping.
Who does most of the cleaning: K and T both do equal shares because for the longest time Kaden did all of the cleaning and then he got tired of it and made a cleaning schedule. Jamison is required by the lease to clean his floor once a week, because Kaden knows better than to let that go.
Who controls the Nextflix queue: Jamison; it's his account.
Who calls up the landlord when the heat's not working: Ty or Jamison, since Kaden is the landlord.
Who steals all the blankets: Ty, but Kaden doesn't mind because he prefers cold to heat and sharing blankets with Ty is just hot--damn vampiric temperatures. Jamison has his own floor of the house, including his own bedroom, so...! I think he'd steal them from both of them, honestly, but not because he's cold; he thrashes around in his sleep quite a lot. (One of the things that drove Kaden bonkers; K likes to cuddle in his sleep.)
Who leaves all their stuff around: All three of them... they're not naturally cleanly people.
Who remembers to buy the milk: None of them.
Who remembers anniversaries: Ty, because he's sentimental like that.

Who is big spoon/little spoon: They're both little spoons.
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Painting/watching Josh paint. Nate says it's one of the only times that he sees Josh being truly happy on the same level he was when he was high.
Who uses all the hot water: Nate, because he's kind of OCD about being clean/presentable.
What they order from take out: Something vegetarian for Josh and something with lots of meat for Nate.
What is the most trivial thing they'll fight about: Which one of them forgot the umbrella when they walk somewhere and it decides to rain.
Who does most of the cleaning: Josh, because guilt. He would really do anything to make Nate happy so keeping a clean house is the least he can do to make up for all the shit he did before.
Who controls the Nextflix queue: Neither of them; they don't own a TV.
Who calls up the landlord when the heat's not working: Nate, usually, because Josh is antisocial and hates dealing with responsibility.
Who steals all the blankets: They actually share blankets rather well. Neither of them ends up too cold and they cuddle all night because neither of them thrash around in their sleep or anything.
Who leaves all their stuff around: Nate, usually--sculpture tends to lend itself to a wider array of messes than painting.
Who remembers to buy the milk: Both of them, usually. Except for when they don't.
Who remembers anniversaries: Josh remembers all of their firsts and Nate remembers the actual anniversaries; they both have their priorities.
I wonder what it says that three of my four kind-of contemporary pieces are OT3s and not pairings, heh heh heh.
In other news, my
smut_fest fics are up for this round:
On The Turning Away - LJ; DW
Pairing: m/m
Warnings: Underage (14-15), grooming, rape/non-con sex, dub-con situation in general, non-POV character death, extremely abusive relationship, happi endo
Word Count: ~15,000
Summary: In a world where demons torture humans for fun, religions are based on how they deal with the threat of demons. Ziyans offer up their priests--people often purchased as children from impoverished families--for the greater good. But is it really worth it? Can any good come from consorting with demons?
Chip Off the Old Block - LJ; DW
Pairing: f/m, mention of f/f
Warnings: Older woman/teenage boy
Word Count: ~6,900
Summary: Ardal's bound and determined to have General Moyra Hattikar train his fire talent. She refuses to teach him to kill people with his talent, but he is too stubborn to take no for an answer.
