Frolicon write-up time!
Thursday night after Em got off work we took Puffin to my Mom's place and then high-tailed it to the convention.
Tangent one: As soon as we walked into the convention center, I said, "I've been here before!" and it turned out that I had--in 2001. And I still remembered where everything was, including the useless elevator that I ended up spending one night in because hotel staff would not allow me to sleep on the couches. So, yeah, interesting, that.
We got our badges and our "booty"--little pins that we could give to someone if we thought they were particularly awesome, or ask people what we could do to earn their booty--my badge number was the most awesome ever: 1234. :D
We'd missed the Spanking 101 panel that we'd really wanted to attend, but that was cool because we ended up meeting the other girl from the lesbian threesome at Dragon*Con there! I was unsurprised, after I thought about it a bit, but it was still a "Fancy meeting you here!" moment for all of us. We stayed in her (Katch00) and Sraight_jacket's hotel room, ftr--they were awesome for letting us do this, and I love them for it.
I ended up meeting a lot of people from Whippersnappers there, including a mocha guy named Bishop1001! (Who is a switch, ftr.) He and his sub/slave Purple Shadow were there, and I was happy to meet her because I hadn't met her before this. I spent Thursday night drinking and watching scenes in the dungeon and talking and talking and talking. (And laughing at a drunk girl named Mindy who somehow ended up in the room, with Misti, her babysitter.) I think I got to sleep sometime around 5am.
Tangent two: Sraight_jacket & Katch00 both had Violet Wands, so we spent a lot of time playing with them. It's a really interesting feeling, and if I'm worked up already with pain it's a really pleasing feeling, but if I'm not worked up it's kind of meh and weird. Overall playing with the wands made me want to pick back up on that H/L electricity play fic that I started ages and ages ago and stopped writing because Orange was trying to correct me on the way a Violet Wand worked even though she'd never seen/used one before. >_<
Friday I woke up 10ish and hopped right in the shower. I wore this dress I have that shows my panties if I bend over, and got sooo many compliments on it even though it's just really simple and almost plain. But it looks really nice on me, and I love it, so. Yes.

I worked the Whippersnapper's table from 12-2 and met a lot of people, including Burgundy and his awesome feather hat (I petted it a lot) and just... so many peeeople. It was really fun, and I checked back with the table throughout the convention. I think next time I'll sign up for working the table multiple days, because it was actually a lot of fun and kind of gave me a purpose instead of wandering aimlessly.
Tangent four: Whippersnappers is a very pansexual group and tends toward femdoms; at Frolicon I got to see what maymay complained so much about in the heterocentric, female-sub type... expectations, I guess. A lot of people automatically assumed I was a sub, even without looking at my beads (you had beads on to identify your orientation, both sexual and sub/dom wise) and it was kind of interesting because of that.
Em had to work Friday, and didn't end up getting to the con until... seven, maybe? Not 100% sure about this, but yes: I spent most of Friday alone & wandering.

Tangent five: One of my favorite parts of the convention was the fact that you could literally wear anything at all. Or nothing. I'm apparently a lot more into clothes than I thought I was? Hahaha.
We wandered back down to the dungeon after we vacated the party, but it was closed to non-staff people so we (me, MistressSabila, and Subbie_Butt) just... sat there. Burgundy wandered by and sat with us XD talkingggg.
Eventually I think it was Subbie_Butt who asked me, "Have you ever been tied up?" and I said no, because of course I haven't! And he busted out the rope and proceeded to tie me up. Talktalktalk, followed them to the functional suspension panel, decided to go up and check on Em and Katch00 to make sure they were ok and didn't need anything and ended up bringing them food from Consuite because walking was just way too goddamn hard for them and Subbie_Butt ended up coming up and sitting with me and watching the two of them. It was high on entertainment value, I think, watching people at the beginning of a trip.
Drank a little, MistressSabila came up, then all of us went down and had dinner at the little restaurant connected to the hotel. So goddamn overpriced >_<
Went to the dungeon after that! I wandered around a bit, and then MistressSabila proceeded to tie Subbie_Butt up and play--
