Me: (watching Justin Bieber's Boyfriend video.)
Sean: (looking over my shoulder) I can see why people started calling him a lesbian.
Me: He's really cute in this video! I'd do him.
Sean: You're not disproving the theory, there.

Ahaha, my bad. (Note: I'm visually attracted to traits that are traditionally female.)

In other news, fuck yes dancing, even if it's pretty exclusively boy-dancing. My kingdom for intentionally gender-bent dance moves!

A few cool things:

Tuneage - a blog for anyone who likes a wide variety of music. Hoshit, these people got everything and they're normally (for me) spot-on about the quality of the music too.

Elbo.ws - Music blogs out the wazoo, but they vary in quality but they normally have downloadable content so that's a plus.

Blog @ Sinthetik.com - just a lot of cool stuff, though I will warn that it's not always safe for work and the NSFW stuff is not behind cuts, so keep that in mind when approaching this site. I really like the fact that a lot of the pictures this person posts are women that are bigger. It helps to remind me that yes, overweight girls are pretty too.

[livejournal.com profile] everydayprompts - A comm I started because I couldn't find a community that was only prompts. No people posting crap, just prompts, pure and simple. Yay~!

In other news, I wish DW had LJ's last-fm thing, because I really like that.

All the excitement over the trip, and I nearly forgot to post the best part!

Now, during RAG party Tens had drawn various panties and penises, and I took home with me Setsuna's, and put them right on the top of the suitcase so they would be the first things the people would see if I ended up getting my stuff searched.

So, naturally, my stuff got searched.

The lady who did it was awesome; she opened up the suitcase and just paused for a second, and said, "huh", and then kept up searching for whatever it was the x-ray people thought justified additional search.

I suspected that my vibes were the thing in question, and was right: when she found them, she went "ahh", and got out one of those little test strips and rubbed it all over them. (I was suddenly very glad I'd cleaned them thoroughly before I left.) She finished rubbing the vibes down and stuck the slip in the slot and the little machine read it, and it blinked green at first, but then it started flashing red: EXPLOSIVES DETECTED.

Yep. That's right. My vibes? Fucking explosive. You'd better believe that shit. :D

In the end, all I got was a pat-down and when that came up clean they let me through. I will say this: LAX is the most security-intensive airport that I've been in so far. I was tempted to ask the guy at the gate who searched my stuff again (random search lollll) "did you find my explosive vibrators yet?" but I didn't because I didn't feel like going through another pat-down.

1) Connecting with female characters in geek television. Very interesting, thought-provoking article. Must-read for anyone who considers themselves a feminist. Even if you're not familiar with the examples (I'm not) it still resonates; you can probably come up with examples of your own. (For me, mine is Marina vs. Saji in Gundam 00. Same peaceful sentiment, but intolerable when coming from Marina and endearing when coming from Saji the haro sex helped I'm sure.)

2) Totally going to do the VOICE RECORDING MEME. Ask me to say or answer anything, and I'll record it all and post my fabulous voice. (Meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] piledriver)

3) I came up with the best poem ever for Lizardmen.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Your cock is splendid
Fuck my throat til I'm blue

I have no excuse, really. It's fucking perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. :D
